PCV system replaced

Well it did take me about 8 hours, but i have now completely replaced the PCV system. :)

Inlet manifold off. (this took ages as the bolts are quite tricky to get to)

Old pipe work:

All the pipes were full of this gunk:

New oil trap fitted:

New pipe work fitted:

Then just put a new manifold gasket on and put everything else back together. :)

Parts update

The rear spoiler has now been fitted. Its freezing outside!

Also recieved these today :)

A manual boost controller, boost gauge and 3 gauge holder to fit a DIN stereo socket.
I will only be able to increase the boost by a few PSI for the moment. Currently the boost is controlled electronically and fades in as the revs increase. This will force the boost to stay the same constantly, so I should see a small performance gain. :)

New parts

New parts have arrived. :)

Replacement PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) system. Should solve a number of small issues caused by the old one being clogged up.

MOT repairs day 2

Tonight we fitted a new lambda sensor, sourced the hole in the exhaust and filled it with high temperature silicone lol. Will have to do until i get a performance exhaust. :)

Will book a re-test soon and hope everything is up to standard. :)
